AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers

Who is this course designed for?

The AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed for those who work in a healthcare setting and need to provide CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. These are people such as nurses, dentists, EMTs, and many more. However, anyone can take this course. Please be sure which course you need for job or other such requirements before registering.

The BLS course is a 2-year certification. If you do not need certification for a healthcare provider, please see our Heartsaver courses.

  • Use of AED and importance of its early use

How to take this course

We offer this course as a Blended Learning course. For a blended learning course, you will first take the online HeartCode BLS course. When you complete the online course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you will then present to us before taking the hands-on portion.

Step 1: Take the online HeartCode BLS course found here.
Step 2: Register for the skills session with us. It will be locally, in Sugar Land, Texas.
Step 3: Complete the hands-on portion of course with us and receive your 2-year certificate.
