We do offer virtual classes for those who require a hands-on session to fulfill requirements for work and certification, but would like to do it from their own home. This offering allows for full certification that will satisfy work and regulatory requirements.
What classes do you offer completely virtual?
We offer 2 classes completely online. These are the AHA Heartsaver Skills Session and the American Red Cross CPR AED Skills Session.
How does this work?
You would need to take the online course prior to taking the hands-on virtual portion of the course. Both the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross have the online courses for non-healthcare providers that can be done in a blended learning format. This means, you take the online course for that certification, then you take either an in-person or a virtual hands-on skills session to practice the things you learned in the course and demonstrate proficiency. Once you have done this with a live instructor, you can complete the course and receive a 2-year certificate.
Who can take these classes?
Fitness instructors, construction employees, daycare employees, babysitters, and anyone who needs a certificate but DOES NOT require the BLS for Healthcare Providers certificate.
